We create exceptional homes across the Midlands & Beyond.
Our projects span Derbyshire, Cheshire, Yorkshire, Warwickshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Staffordshire and Cambridgeshire, from the restoration of distinguished period properties to substantial transformations and entirely bespoke new homes.
While each location brings its own character, landscape and planning considerations, our approach remains consistent: thoughtful architecture, meticulous attention to detail and a highly personal service from the first conversation through to completion.
For our clients, creating a new home or transforming an existing one is a significant undertaking. We believe the experience should be as considered as the architecture itself. We work with a limited number of residential clients, allowing us to give each project the level of thought, attention and personal involvement it deserves. Whether you are transforming a period property in the Derbyshire countryside, creating a contemporary family home in Leicestershire, or developing a completely bespoke new residence in Cheshire or Yorkshire, we bring the same considered approach to every project.
From the earliest conversations through to completion, we provide a discreet, highly personal service, working closely with our clients and trusted consultants to ensure that every decision contributes to the overall vision.

New homes we've created within the past 10 years
Based in Nottingham, we work with private clients across the Midlands and beyond, creating considered, bespoke homes in some of the region’s most distinctive settings.
The right Architect doesn't have to be local.
When choosing an architect, it’s natural to look close to home. But should geography really be the deciding factor?
We don’t think so. The right architect is the one who understands your ambitions, shares your vision and can deliver the right result — wherever you’re based.
Great architecture isn’t restricted by postcode
When creating a significant home, choosing an architect is about more than proximity. Your architect should understand your ambitions, share your appreciation for considered design and have the experience to navigate the complexities of a substantial residential project. They should bring the right combination of creativity, technical expertise and personal attention to your project — wherever it is located.
In an increasingly connected world, being based a little further away need not compromise the experience. Much of the design process can be handled efficiently through digital meetings, detailed presentations and regular communication, while site visits and face-to-face meetings are arranged at the stages where they add the most value.
In fact, choosing a practice beyond your immediate area can give you access to a broader range of experience and a more considered choice of architect, rather than limiting your search by postcode.
The relationship matters more than the distance
Appointing a local architect can be convenient — but convenience isn't necessarily the same as suitability. By widening your search, you open the door to practices with a particular design expertise, a track record of delivering projects like yours, or simply an approach that feels right for you. Your home, development or building is too important to choose an architect purely because they happen to have an office nearby. Choose the architect, not the postcode.
A better way to work
We're a deliberately small practice working with a limited number of residential clients. This allows us to provide the flexibility and attentiveness our clients value. The way we work allows us to be highly responsive to project demands which is far more important than proximity.
So, does your architect need to be local?
Not necessarily. What matters is finding an architect who listens, communicates well, solves problems, understands your priorities and has the expertise to turn your ambitions into great architecture whilst managing the whole process in a way that makes the process enjoyable for you.
